About Happy Heeling

Here, at Happy Heeling, we celebrate growth in dog ownership and training. We believe that dog ownership is a journey, that only gets better with each and every new dog we own and train. We strive to keep an open mind and keep our focus on innovation and personal betterment, while the canine industry evolves. All of our blog contributors have a minimum of twenty years hands on experience in training and raising dogs. While we do utilize technology available to us, in order to enhance information delivery, such as stock photography, video or avatar voice overs, we do not publish artificially developed content - all of our contributed information is unique and created by us, the humans behind the keyboard.

Guten Tag!

Davina K Schoen has trained dogs professionally since 2001 and is the owner and main contributor of Happy Heeling. Originally from Germany, Davina has gathered national certifications from several US states and has helped dog owners nationwide with almost every issue and discipline under the sun. While she has solely founded and operated several dog training businesses throughout her 25+ year career, Happy Heeling is her first online Blog and tutorial site. Davina is fluent in German and has, with the acquired knowledge gathered from several international instructors, combined and developed her own dog training methodology and unique training systems. Many of Davina's previous training clients are now training their third and fourth dogs under her guidance and this blog serves as an additional asset to them and others.
